Recalculating & Eventscapade: Everywhere

Yeah I can't be specific here cuz its a bunch of places that I've been to. Unfortunately, my Dslr is with my mom and sister who are in Japan so I've been using my iPhone. Photos aren't crappy but theyre not as good quality.

1. Aracama on a Tuesday Night

Yeah you heard me. ON A TUESDAY NIGHT. There was hardly any people in the Fort Strip. Luckily, UPJMA had an event in Aracama (we didn't know about it til we got there) so we saw a lot of our friends.

nd again, Tuesday night. Indubitably, we were all so fucking bored that day. Honestly, who parties on a Tuesday for no reason?

We do.

Crappy night photo. Apple, please work on your camera's night capabilities please.

Saw my preschool classmate/ UP buddy, Kassy!

2. Closeup Forever Summer

I was asked to be an ambassador for the Closeup Forever Summer event held last April 5. It was probably the best night of April. It had the 3 Bs: Beats, Babes, and Booze! Alesso was the headliner that night (so you can pretty much guess how happy I was). I saw people I haven't seen in ages and was with people I couldn't live without.

LOOK HOW CLOSE WE WERE OH MY GOD

Gerard and I wasting time (lying down on the grass, drinking iced tea, instagramming, etc)

Aaaand the mandatory "Oh-I'm-Here-At-This-Event" Selfie.

The mandatory "I'm-At-A-Concert-That-Feels-Like-Coachella-Look-It's-Grass" Shoe selfie.

The heat was unbearable. Thank God for VIP tickets. I have no clue how Gold tagged people bore the heat.

We went to the Gold area to buy drinks and, well, take this. I was supposed to get a shot of the whole stage but it didn't work. *short arms problems*

Random photos of me enjoying the night.

With my blockmate Joyce Pring who btw still owes me a date.

ANJO AND DEEJAY. I love these two. We used to hang out a lot  back in highschool. They're all so bigtime na now. So proud of  them huhu.

With my batchmate Ericka and Gerard.

3. Dinner with the Family at Rockwell

I used the monopod that atchcatch gave me. T'was useful!

4. Fellowship at Casa Genato

I invited some friends over at my house for beer pong. Yes, I have a beer pong table. Yes you may come over and drink with me (but please plan ahead). I decided to use the clip lens and selfie pod from Atchcatch. Can I just say that your need to selfie doubles when you have these with you. I'm definitely bringing them to LABORacay [MAY 1-6 PEOPLE HIT ME UP]

Link to Atchatch is HERE

I used my baking table as a beer pong table. HAHA

Fish eye clip lens and selfie pod!

The writings on my mirror, the morning after.

5.  Not included but I decided to include it anyway. SELFIES

Til next time! ;)

Blog Hiatus: Why I was so busy

Forgive the Hiatus. I was just really so damn busy these past few months. I've been posting on my instagram [HERE] constantly though but for those who prefer the blog layout, here you gooo.

I recently acted for a friend's thesis (Hello Don) entitled "Salinlahi". It was my first time acting as the damsel in distress (which, by the way, I absolutely abhor. I mean, I hate being so, so... weak...) Anyway. Since Don is a REALLY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE, I didn't just act in this film, I was part-makeup artist, part-PD, part-proxy for the diwata, part-dubber, part-masseuse, part-thesis writer helper, part-thesis depression buddy (a.k.a. Don's psychiatrist), part-driver, part-life of the party (chos. Just kidding). Honestly, I really did put a part of me not in the film but in the making of it. I met so many people. People whom I've never thought would stay so close to my heart. ESPECIALLY THE UP BABAYLAN PEEPZ WHO ARE JUST SO FUCKING GORG CAN I JUST SAY. Esp my loves Rod and Renzie. <3 p="">

Cedrick (middle) Marko (right) and I posing for what seems to be something R18 but is, well, not. I'm the mistress here but Marko is THE LEGAL WIFE. HAHAHAHA

RENZIE MY BABYGIRL. <3 p="">

Nicolo and I goofing around in the car

Part of the Salinlahi gang!

Arlen and I at the UPFI (My legs look nice here, don't judge)

Arlen and I

Nico, April, and I. April isn't part of the salinlahi gang but she came to support us. BTW, April is my batchmate in the sorority.

Anyway. Now thats over, lets skip to March 9 when I went to the Great British Festival with my brod Migi.He was feeling down (huhuwawa) so I told him that I knew a place where they sold awesome burgers and pizza. TADAH!! NOLITA!!

It just so happened that there was a mini concert happening by the open area so we had indie music playing while we were eating.

*bliss*

Happy boy with his gigantic burger.

My pizza

That things fucking huge.

After eating, Migi and I decided to grab a beer (okay fine, I BOUGHT A BEER, he didn't) and watch the show.

And guess who was playing.. SHE'S ONLY SIXTEEN! Anjo and Roberto were part of my barkada back in highschool. HUHU. MUCH BIGTIME. SUCH WOW. :((

AAANNNDDD (I apologize for the screwed up sequence of events) REVERSE BACK TO FEBRUARY. UP Manila elections, I decided to visit my brods and support my batchmate, Brian (WHO BTW WON THE POSITION OF UP MANILA'S USC COUNCILOR)

Gerd and I

Jomar and I goofing around (I feel like a kid when I'm with you, batch. <3 p="">

THERES MY KABATCH, SECOND FROM THE LEFT.

WITH MY BEAUTIFUL DYOSA, ONANG WHOM I HAVEN'T SEEN IN YEARS.

AANNNNNNDDD FAST FORWARD TO APRIL when my second sister Kyra had her ball and Intercontinental Makati. Since mom and I knew that she was going to stay late for the night, we decided to rent a room. True enough, she came to the room at 1:30AM (the latest shes ever gone, EVER). The morning after, we decided to swim in the pool (I still had sunburn from my Puerto Galera trip with Dae but that'll be in a different post) and take instax photos.

My gorgeous view from the, uh, the um, under the umbrella.

Our photos (instax film is expensive so we make it a point not to waste.)

My mango shake with rosewater (I special requested the rosewater and cherry syrup hehe)

Rule: Pag maganda ang lighting, mag selfie. (If the lighting is good, take a selfie)

Yep. I kinda abused it.

Mother's attempts on taking jump shots. First one was too early and the second one was too late.

After checking out, we decided to eat at Bubba Gump at Greenbelt (oh, yknow, shrimp cravings).

The hot sauces that I wanted to steal.

Momma bear and dichi.

OH DID I MENTION THAT THEIR LEMONADE HAD FREE LIGHT UP GLASSES. A glass of it was 200+ though BUT WHO CARES, IT LIGHTS UP.

Me copying the logo. Excuse my retardedness please.

The mouthwatering clam chowder.

We were too food comatosed to actually do anything after so we went home and slept. HAHA

ANYWAY. I'm almost done editing the 3rd episode of Chalen G. ARE YOU GUYS READY FOR IT??

Til next time! <3 p="">

Recalculating: Kamay Ni Jesus, Lucban, Quezon

My grammy invited me to go to one of her work outings at Lucban, Quezon. At first I thought it was a weekend retreat so I was so eager to go. Apparently it was just a day trip, which was a bit of a disappointment. Huhu.

Anyway. We went to Lucban, Quezon to go to the famed "Kamay Ni Hesus". Note: I have never been to that place before so I assumed that there would be an actual "Kamay ni Hesus" statue or something. Indubitably, I was mistaken. The place is known for their "Healing Masses" with Fr. Faller. Theres a step where you close your eyes and hold his hand, then let God Run through you through Fr. Faller's hand, imagining that his hand is Jesus' hand.

But no, I wasn't disappointed that there wasn't an ACTUAL hand statue because there were a bunch of statues all over the place. They were a LITTLE BIT creepy at first, but you'll get used to them after a while.

Me and Auntie Cherrie, my grammy's best friend. We were instructed to wear WHITE, not white with polka dots. *oops*

Their really TIRING but extremely AWESOME Stages of the Cross. I have to say, it was very tiring because it was just so steep. You really have to climb up to appreciate all of the statues.

We heard mass at the church in front of the Stages of the Cross. Yes yes. Its true. I'm not agnostic anymore. I guess it was time to let God guide me. Clichè as it may be but for a while, I've been just really lost.

Oh. This one's pretty cool. Its Noah's Ark. Its part hotel, part chapel, part restaurant, part playground.

Look at that awesome elephant. Huhu.

This is the chapel inside Noah's Ark. We heard a second mass here (specifically for my lola's group).

Everyone minus me because I was the one taking photos. Specifically, ALL of the photos from their cameras and phones.

Our lunch for that day. CAN I JUST SAY THAT THIS IS SO COOL. EVERYTHINGS BIODEGRADABLE, EVEN THE SPORK.

Aaand to end the post, I present to you the Php 10.00 Milo iced cream that they sold by the parking area.

Forgive the blandness of this post. I'm currently working on another blog post (and another). I didn't even bother to edit the photos in this post so it looks disgusting.

Anyway. 'Til next time! ✌️
