BALANGA U-TOWN LAST DAY

WOOHOOOOOOO. The site reached 1000+ page likes already! Congratulations to us! The fambam and I left extra early for Balanga to avoid the weekend traffic. Thank the Lord for Magic 89.9 cuz all we were listening to for the whole day was 80's music (Friday Magic Madness)

I decided to use the old iPad and play some of my old games. When I was about to update the new Simpsons game, I found a dead ant on my screen. Apparenly, it wasn't beneath the screen protector. IT WAS BENEATH THE NEW GLASS SCREEN. Well, egh. :|

Brought the babezilla with us to Balanga because she didn't have school that day. She was so happy that we brought her along. She couldn't wait to get out of the house. Cutiee.

All she ever did that day was run around, eat donuts, and sleep. HAHA. Oh the life of a toddler. I'm so jealous.

Comment: Ayos naman, pero masmaganda kung mas maayos ang pag-act nila para mas maakit ang mga manonood para makatulong sa Bataan. 

Feedback: Please know that the kids are all non-professionals when it comes to acting. During the auditions, we looked for world class singers, not actors. The only professional actors are me (Ma'am Stella), Sir Bong (who played Sir Butch), and TJ (Ma'am Stella's boyfriend. Played by Nico Ibaviosa). Not unless kami yun then I'M SORRY. PWEDENG MAG SORRY??

Comment: Ang cool ng kamukha ni Raymond Gutierez. Saan nabibili yung pancit? Pwede magtrabaho sa club ni Tita Osang? Paano yung facial gamit yung tapa?

Yung pansit, the place is called Idios. Nakalimutan ko na kung aling kalye eh. PERO, LEGIT, SOLID SA SARAP TALAGA YUNG PANCIT. Ang alam ko, katabi lang niya halos yung Estrella's.

Actually nagkaconversation na kami ni Tita Osang eh. I asked her if I could work for her.

Tita O: Trabaho? Trabaho nanaman. Wala ka na bang pera jennn?
Me: Ah. Wala na po eh. 
Tita O: ANO? ANONG SABI MO?

Yung tinapa facial, alternative kasi yan sa sea salt body scrub. Available lang yan sa city hall spa. Hanapin mo si Sir Aaron.

Comment: Sana may mga scenes din from other towns around Bataan. Kasi may mga ibang maganda pang view like sa Bagac, Mariveles, Limay, etc. Para mafeature talaga yung ganda ng Bataan.

Feedback: Well, it's called Balanga U-town for a reason. We will showcase other cities eventually but the pilot had to be DOMINANTLY from Balanga. The only reason why there were Manila scenes was that we needed a link from Balanga to Manila (so that may "connect" yung mga Manileno when they watch the show). Stella came from Manila, Sheila worked in Manila, Stella and TJ studied undergrad in Manila. Eventually we hope to shoot in Mariveles and in Bagac. :)

Comment: Sobrang ganda ng istorya, nakakaiyak ung nagkita na ung mag-ina at ang ganda ng mga kanta nila. Sayang episode 1 pa lang, hindi na ko makapaghintay sa mga susunod na episode!!! PS. nasan si STELLA!?

Feedback: Sayo na siya. Di ko siya type. The guy who played TJ (boyfriend ni Ma'am Stella) is actually my fraternity brother, Nico Ibaviosa. He's my kuya. So. Yeah. Sayo na siya talaga.

THE GOTO THING THAT THEY SERVED DURING BREAKFAST. Shit. It was so good. Instead of chicken and what not (which they always serve here in Manila) it had innards! Intestines and "twalya". SO GOOD!!!

BALANGA BABYYYY

Remember my post way back when about Pops and I making a webshow movie short for the City of Balanga? (HERE) Well we had our first school tour screening yesterday (Jan 29, 2013) in Balanga. The first school to be screened was BPSU (Bataan Peninsula State University). We divided the screening into 4 batches so that it would fit the students’ schedules. By the way, you ca like the page HERE and my fanpage HERE for my photos of the events.

When I arrived, we headed straight for the plaza. Every morning, the city holds a morning aerobics session for anyone and everyone who wants to participate. Pretty neat, huh? The cool part is, they use modern music. They even used dubstep once! HAHA

We arrived pretty early that day. It was just about twilight when we entered the city. The moon was extraordinarily beautiful that day. Oh by the way, all photos were taken with my Sony NEX5.

We held our screening at the Balanga People's Center. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, we held our screeningsWITHOUT A PROJECTOR. We used an LCD screen (the one they use for concerts and video billboards). It was actually pretty cool. Before the screening, we watched Adele's concert on the screen. IT FELT SO REAL only because the acoustics of the place gave us that "concert feel".

They had this on most of the seats on the side. It was to prevent the students from sitting someplace else.

This was one fo their giveaways during the screening. They gave me one only because I asked for it. HAHA. It was actually pretty cute :))

NEW BLOG HOORAH

You can still check out my previous blog [ http://bazoeka.tumblr.com ] I changed because Tumblr had a new layout in the blogging so it was difficult for me to edit my photos. It would upload my pictures in low quality, and when I would resize it MANUALLY, it would be so grainy. I hate it. I wish tumblr just STAYED THE SAME.

During these early mornings, I tend to just sit back, relax, and just fucking write shit. Mostly songs.

This is not an artsy shot. It was a failed attempt to take a photo of the screen. Apparent;y it was on timer, and, voila. I'd hate to put a good photo to waste. Ironically it een follows the rule of thirds. HAHA.

And thats my stupid and messy iMac featuring MERLIN! Lalalala I love that series. It was Alaric who first introduced me to it. Alrighty. Goodnight. :)
