Recalculating: Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB)

My dad recently contacted me if I had a few days to spare from work for work (lol). The Chairman of the Freeport of Bataan, who happens to be my godfather by baptism, Atty. Deo Custodio (Upsilon Sigma Phi batch 91) contacted Pops if we could make an AVP for them. Pops needed me to shoot some photos.

It's funny how, back then, Pops wan't at all too keen about my photography being my profession. As an award winning indie film director, he wanted me to either be an a.) Actress or b.) a director as well (to follow his footsteps). It took him 6 years to finally accept that this was what I wanted to do. I'm really glad that he's more than happy with it. "Ipagpatuloy mo yan para soon enough ikaw na DOP (Director of Photography) ko". (Keep pursuing that so that someday you'll be my DOP)

Hay nako, Pops.

Anyway. At first, I thought of it as just work. Take photos here. Take Photos there. Edit. Send. Typical landscape shots of the area. When I got to Mariveles, where the Freeport was,  I was just so amazed at how beautifully serene the whole area was. All of the locations that they sent us were PERFECT places for shoots.

Note: I used a Canon 60D here with only 2 lenses. A Sigma 10-20mm f/2.8 and a canon 50mm f/1.4

This is the Lighthouse by the bay in Mariveles. This place overlooks the Bataan Coal Powerplant (bottom left of the photo). I woke up at 4 am just to take this damn photo. And I shit you not, it was definitly worth it. This photo doesn't do the sunruse any justice, actually. I only did minor edits with this one.
