How I Got Caught Up in This Shit World of Photography

You guys may have noticed the layout change (Specifically the banner and the background). I used my original watermark, added a triangle thing on it for no purpose whatsoever, and voila. My blog looks like a raver's blog. Yikes. D:

Its actually quite interesting where this photo came from. The background is actually the base of Aracama's DJ booth.

The fusion of lights and sounds is what makes my job so intoxicatingly addictive. Normally, I would be so critical with photos, judging every aspect of it from here to there. There is a lot of crab mentality in Photography. The path has always been difficult for me because of it. I went through a lot of shit to get where I am today.

22 Years YOUNG.

I celebrated 22 years of adventure this 12th of November, 2014. On the 15th, I decided to throw a birthday party at my house. The whole balcony was rigged up. From the bar, to the tent, the tables and chairs, oh and yes, the beer pong tables. More than 30 people came and got drunk with me. Let's just say that it was one hell of a night.

And how can we ever forget the Thursday crew? It's never really a party for me if these two aren't around. 

By the way, that's my younger sister bartending. Teach em young, I say. HEHE

Recalculating & Eventscapade: Parties. Parties Everywhere...

If you guys follow my Facebook fanpage (weeew) or my Instagram, you'd know that its my night at Tipple and Slaw every Thursday (if you wanna show up, it's fine. There's no guestlist and its buy one take one Jack Daniels.)

A couple of my friends came over and, well, we kiiiinda partied too hard. HAHAHA. Thank you UP Friends and Aya for coming.

Next part up: The Heineken MNL bottle Launch

Basically the event featured Heineken's new packaging of their beer bottle. There is one for every big city in the world. Some examples would be Singapore, Tokyo, Amsterdam, New York, and Berlin. The event took place at Skye in BGC

Eventscapade: #TUSHalloween Party

TUS HALLOWEEN PARTY

The crew hosted the annual Halloween party but with TUS being the main attraction, not ISAW. It's amazing how creative my friends are. From one small idea to what is now the beginning of an empire, TUS is definitely one of the brands to watch out for.

But what is TUS, exactly? Originally,  it's a filipino term that means getting caught or being extra careful from being caught doing illegal things or immoral actions. For example "Pare. dun tayo sa kanto mag smoke para di Tus" (Dude, let's smoke at the corner so that it's not Tus".

So what is TUS Clothing Co.? It's a lifestyle that voices Ultimate Freedom. The freedom to think beyond what is being thought. It is an extension of who you are, humanity, Freedom, and good vibrations. 

The #TUSHalloween party also served as the brand's launch. Almost everyone was in costume and, well, everyone was TUS. With free flowing alcohol, amazing music from Logiclub, and merchandise being sold here and there, no wonder all of the guests left happy.

I was lucky enough to be one of the photographers that night. Knowing my quirky self, I did not hesitate to go all-out with my costume. I contacted my tita and well known designer, Badj Galias-Genato and asked her to make me a Harley Quinn costume. I chose the Harley outfit from Batman: Arkham City. *nerd*

OKay this photo may make you think "eh bat ang konti naman ng tao?" (But theres not much people). NOTE: This was taken when I arrived at the party, which was at 10AM. There was an estimated 300+ people who arrived at the party. AND THIS IS A HOUSE PARTY.
