I always get so excited for hotel breakfast buffets. It's probably the fact that I don't normally gorge on so much food on a regular basis.
...Okay that was a lie. I always stuff myself with food.
But I still love hotel breakfasts.
LIKE THIS ONE.
Malaysia is dominantly muslim so there were no pork items in the buffet (huhu no bacon) but the vegetables and THE LAMB. My goodness.
The buffet area was decorated with life-sized lego minifigs that were made out of lego blocks (so much lego in one sentence). Oh and, get this, they were all animatronics. The dishes in the photo above were spinning and the minifig chef was tipping over.
While waiting for the shuttle, Kyra and the kids decided to go play at the lego pit one last time before we left. She replicated the sword that was on the lego minifig. Then this random chinese kid grabbed it from her and proceeded to smash it on the ground.
Ah children. I hate them sometimes.
This photo is quite funny. Kyra and I were supposed to have a sister picture in front of the hotel entrance. Azumi insisted that she be part of the picture. Ninong Kench kept telling her "No! You're their cousin, not their sister". She would wail and say "NO. SISTER! SISTER!"
My mother has 5 children now. All girls. Me, Kyra, Maxi, Nike, and Azumi.

Okay. Supposedly, the shuttle was going to arrive at 12 so that we could leave by 1. It was already 1:20 and the shuttle still hadn't arrived. APPARENTLY, they thought it was at 2 o clock, not 12. We had a 2 hour delay so our safari trip in Singapore got cancelled.

We headed out to Gardens by the Bay after we were dropped off in our hotel. The last time I was in Singapore, it was probably 3-4 years ago (Part1)(Part 2), GBTB was still under construction.
They have 2 domes, The flower dome and the cloud dome. Since we were all allergic to flowers, it was common sense for us to go to the Cloud dome.
AND BOY WAS IT SUPER COLD.
The moment the doors opened, my legs started numbing and my nose started stinging. The whole dome was air conditioned to give it that "I'm on top of a mountain" feel. You get to climb up that 35 meter tall mountain. I really does feel like you're at the pinnacle. The cloud dome showcases plant life from tropical highlands up to 2000 meters above sea level. There were some Baguio shrubbery there!
The temperature of the cloud dome is kept at a constant 23-25 degree Celcius and a whopping 80%-90% in humidity.
My ninong Kench is one of my mentors and favorite photographers. You can find his works here.
Imagine, our whole stay in the cloud dome, he was just carrying zumi around while holding a backpack while taking photos. Now I know why he doesn't need to go to the gym.
Everywhere you look, things are just so picturesque.
We went inside the mountain and decided to take a photo right behind the falls. Great picture, big mistake. It was so cold.Tita Badj and I were alternating hugs with Koji.
See that ramp around the mountain? We climbed that shit. I don't have a big fear of heights but that climb made me a bit nauseous.
Koji was so cute. He kept saying "I'm really scared but I have to be brave!"
Mandatory "Oh look there's reflective stuff on the ceiling!" shot.
There was a shortcut from Gardens by the bay to Marina Bay Sands. That shortcut was a long shortcut. We probably walked about 700 meters only because we got lost along the way.
Okay, the only reason why we went to Marina Bay Sands was that we wanted to eat at the DC Cafe. They did not disappoint. Ninong Kench had the Batman burger while I had the Superman burger.
Every night, the Marina Bay Sands has this water and light show. It comes around 6PM.
Kyra and I separated with the rest since it was their last night that night. We were so hungry that we decided to not think and go back to Genki in Bugis +.
That ended our third day in Singapore. Can't wait to post my last day in SG with my sister, Kyra!
