RECALCULATING: TAGAYTAY STAYCATION | 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

As some of you may know, Raymond and I became official on March 16, 2015. For our anniversary this year, we decided to have a staycation at the Summit Ridge hotel in Tagaytay.

He was a very giddy boy on the way to Tagaytay. I tried taking a "Fast and the Furious" kind of shot but he kept on making weird faces.

So I gave up trying to take a serious photo of him.

But I managed to get one, sort of.

We decided to have a stopover at Petron to have our gas refilled. Once we got there, we saw a firetruck that was turned to its side. We don't know what happened exactly but I overheard someone say that the truck was speeding and was supposed to turn left but braked immediately because a motorcycle passed in front of it. Whatever the case, no one got hurt.

I needed my quick fix of coffee (and food. I skipped breakfast) so I had my usual order of spinach lasagna and "Magic Potion" (Venti caramel frappucino, extra shot of espresso, soy, no whip, 3 shakes cinnamon blended in)

We had room 701 of Summit Ridge. It wasn't the best I've been to but it was exactly what we needed for our R&R. They had a balcony per room that APPARENTLY you can smoke there ONLY IF you ask permission from the concierge (in which case, they will send you an ashtray so that you won't make a mess). Rai and I weren't aware of this since the rules said that it was a no smoking room.

Rai spend a good 20 minutes photosynthesizing by the balcony. The weather was pretty cold that day so I wouldn't blame him.

The whole morning until 2pm we were just in the room. He was working while I was, as usual, sleeping.   The bed was so fluffy that I fell asleep the moment I moved under the covers. I was able to sleep for a good 3 hours when I woke up to a grumbling tummy.

Rai and I went to this Korean restaurant called Ci Yoo (And yes, we both joked about it's Wiz Khalifa Realness).

The kimchi soup was so cute, I wanted to take the  pot home.

Kimchi Radish that I had 3 servings of.

AND THE SAMGYEOPSAL.

Right after eating, we rushed back to the hotel so that we could take photos of the wonderful sunset.

Oh and the sunset itself was gorgeouuuuuus.

We had dinner at The Farm Organics (nestled in Megaworld's Twin Lakes) by 7:30PM. I must say, it was such a great discovery. The food was breathtakingly scrumptious and very hearty.

Rai's Rib eye steak.

We bought some beer and Moscato (for me)

Fast forward to the morning after, we had breakfast at Leslie's in Sky Ranch.

Then we rode the Ferris wheel for only 1 reason:  the aircon.

We dropped by Good shepherd on our way home.
